Bauer Vapor 1X Lite Stick

The Lite show is coming as Bauer Hockey is preparing to launch the all new Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick in 2018.  The Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick will continue to focus on shooters who want a lightning quick release and Bauer has done this with two key technologies.

First, Bauer will be introducing an all new Advanced Carbon Layering or ACL design to improve the 1X Lite stick. This new design uses stronger and thinner internal carbon fiber layers to create Bauer’s lightest blade ever. The carbon fiber layers on the 1X Lite will actually be 13% thinner than its predecessor and have been optimally positioned to increase strength. The Advanced Carbon Layering technique used in the new Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick will result in an 11% faster release when compared to the previous 1X stick.

Next, Bauer has updated the Quick Release Taper technology (QRT) found in the Vapor line to the latest QRT Plus technology. The new QRT Plus found in the Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick will utilize reinforced fibers in the taper for added stability. The end result will be a 20% improvement in stability for one timers and pass control when compared to the previous 1X.

Beyond those two key updates, the Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick will feature an Aero Sense 2 blade core along with a Pure Shot blade profile. The blade will also feature a matte design with added texture. Lightweight TexTreme construction and Monocomp technology will be used along with Elastech resin for strength and durability. The shaft will also feature Micro Feel II shaft dimensions and double concave walls for an excellent feel in your hands.

The Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick will be available in senior, intermediate, junior, and youth sizes with flexes ranging from 102 in the senior sizes to 35 in the youth size.
