Bauer Re-Akt 200 Helmet

Bauer is set to introduce an all-new helmet in 2017 as part of the Re-Akt line, the Bauer Re-Akt 200 helmet.

The Bauer Re-Akt 200 helmet includes an updated liner which they call the Suspend-Tech NG liner. This liner moves independently from the inner protective foams in the helmet and adapts to your head for improved comfort. Meanwhile, it still offers maximum protection from any impact you might receive with XRD foam and VTX technology.

If you’re not familiar, XRD foam is a premium material which provides incredible impact protection. VTX technology is another lightweight foam which absorbs both high-energy and low-energy impacts.

On the inside rear portion of the helmet, you will find a new Bauer fit plate. This is a moldable occipital lock which allows you to further customize the fit of the helmet. The custom fit helps to improve comfort while wearing the helmet.

Comfort on the Bauer Re-Akt 200 helmet is also improved with the included molded memory foam in the liner. Bauer also added moisture channels to further promote cooling and help keep your head dry while playing.

The all new Bauer Re-Akt 200 helmet will be available for purchase as a helmet only, or as a combination with a Re-Akt facemask. The facemask also includes a chin cup with XRD foam that has also been treated with Microban antimicrobial technology. Bauer’s all new Re-Akt 200 helmet will launch on May 19th and be available in black, white, navy, red, and blue colors.
